Myanmar earthquake – one year on

A photographic exhibition @The Courtyard

Wednesday 25 March - Sunday 19 April

Join us to see Myanmar earthquake – one year on. This stunning photographic exhibition tells the story of the resilience and determination of people in Myanmar after the earthquake, and how with generous support from the UK public they are beginning to rebuild their lives.

On 28 March 2025, a powerful 7.7 magnitude earthquake devastated huge areas of Myanmar. Thousands of people were killed, and homes, businesses and farmland were destroyed. The Disasters Emergency Committee (DEC) launched The Myanmar Earthquake Appeal and to date £28 million has been raised.  With these funds the DEC, its member charities and local partners have helped over half a million people.

Myanmar earthquake – one year on includes striking photography, videos and a chance to hear directly from those affected.

Tuesday 24 March to Sunday 19 April 2026 in The Courtyard @ St Martin-in-the-Fields 9.30am to 5.30pm.  [Please note the exhibition will be close on 26 March and 27 March am]
