Public Description (About this object)
This is a memorial stone fragment depicting a woman kneeling in prayer, whose head and hands are missing. The style suggests it may be Tudor and thus dates from the former St Martin-in-the-Fields church, 1544-1721. It is now in the back passage of the Crypt Gallery, beneath the current church.
