My wife and I first met at The Centre youth club at 12 Adelaide Street in 1976. I think it was part of St Martin-in-the-fields ministry. Almost 50 years ago we wonder what happened to The Center. We remember two leaders: Vicky and Louis Alexander, and an assistant called Kevin Wyatt-Lown. This club was key to my survival, making friends, learning about life as I was 18 years old and didn’t know anyone my age in London having moved there from Dorset.
