Public Description (About this object)
This stone memorial is to Moses Hart (d.1773). It is a rectangular marble memorial with a curved top, a shallow engraved border and black engraved text. On it, in relief is the memorial text, noting he died 15 April 1773 at 59 years old and was the Churchwarden of the parish for that year. The memorial is located in the back of the Crypt Gallery, under the church.

Engraved: This is erected In Memory of MOSES HART Churchwarden of this Parish (for that Year) who departed this Life April 15, 1773 Aged 59.
Subject and Association Description
Moses Hart was a Churchwarden of the parish of St Martin-in-the-Fields Church. He died aged 59 on 15 April 1773.
