Public Description (About this object)
Marble memorial to Edith Bilson, 14 March 1651 age 28 years. Jackson was the daughter and heir of Peter Bettesworth and her husband 'T B'. The memorial has an oval panel with an inscription, a lion couchant to one side, and cherubs above, leaning on their elbows. The memorial is from the former St Martin-in-the-Fields church, 1544-1721.
