Voluntary Music Making

Starting in November 2026, the Youth Choir (years 9-13) will meet on Wednesdays, 5.30-7pm, and offers opportunities to collaborate with St Martin’s adult choirs as well as to perform in concerts, services, and recordings throughout the year. It is a select choir for teenagers who already have some experience of reading music who are looking for more advanced choral training and performance opportunities. Singers develop their ensemble skills, sight-singing and vocal confidence, while exploring a varied repertoire.

Auditions consist of one prepared piece and sight-singing. This choir is free to attend, with rehearsals taking place on Wednesdays, during term-time.
